A few guidelines that keep Silver Sands open and in good shape for the next visitor.
Leave no trace
There are garbage cans around the property – please use them, and keep the lids on so wildlife and wind cannot get into them. Stay on marked trails through the park, especially near dune vegetation and nesting areas.
Fire pit
There is a fire pit on site. Always check current provincial burn restrictions before lighting anything – conditions change through the season and a restriction in place overrides any assumption that fires are allowed.
Dogs
Dogs are welcome! They must be kept on a leash – this is shared habitat, and there may be nesting birds and other wildlife on the ground where you can’t see them.
